We can accommodate almost any delivery schedule. There could be additional charges for deliveries outside normal business hours or on weekends. Let your salesperson know that you have a special delivery requirement, and we will do whatever it takes to accommodate you.
Yes, we carry a very large variety of new prime steel and pipe. Mill test reports are available upon request.
Yes, we sell stainless steel and aluminum. We also sell many other metals and are here to help you with anything else you might need.
LTP© is the term we use for any type of material that may not be in good enough condition to be sold as prime quality. It could be overstock, odd size, rusty, clean, pitted, damaged, reject, miscut or, in some cases, just a great buy! In many cases, LTP© products don’t have mill test reports available.
YES! Unlike many steel and pipe stockyards, we are happy to have you look around our inventory in the yard with or without one of our team members. If you’d like assistance, our staff will show you around and write down exactly what you want. If you decide to browse alone, we ask that you do it carefully and at your own risk due to material handling equipment and trucks traveling throughout our yard. If you decide you want to browse our warehouses, we ask that you ask a team member to accompany you.
While our LTP© steel and pipe is purchased in many different grades and types, we don’t sell it as a certain grade of material unless it is certified to be that grade and/or has mill test reports. In many cases, we mark the material with the information that it had mentioned on it when it came to us. We can’t be certain as to the grade, so use this information at your own risk.
Unless you need mill certification for your material or you must have very clean material, we feel that it is of a great value to buy our LTP© steel or pipe. Our customers typically save from 10-40% or more, depending on the type of material purchased.
However you would like to get your material is fine with us. You may pick up the material or have it delivered.
If you prefer to pick up your order:
- You can order your materials in advance with one of our sales specialists or come in to purchase.
- Your sales specialist can verify the time it will be available
If you prefer to have your order delivered:
- We can deliver on our own truck, common carrier, or hot shot if you need to have delivered faster than our fleet can.
- Local Delivery in Houston is free with an order of $650 or more.
Delivery charges vary depending on the size of order and delivery location. If the order is at least $650 and you are located in Houston, delivery is FREE. For orders less than the minimum or outside of the Houston area, our fee is based upon the delivery location.
Yes! We will work with you to deliver your order to you as quickly as possible, whether we use our own trucks or an outside delivery service.
Please ask the sales associate you are working with on the approximate time your order will be ready.
Within two weeks of purchase and with preauthorization, our customers are welcome to return material that hasn’t been used, as long as it is in at least the same condition as it was when purchased. We do not allow return of any material that has been cut or altered in any way from our normal stocking condition. There will be a 20% restocking fee for any material that is returned.
We are able to have your material available to you whenever you need it. Whether we deliver it or you pick it up, we will work with your sense of urgency in mind. Even if you need it within the hour, the same day or next day, we are happy to help.
No, we do not have a minimum for most orders. However, we ask for a $10 minimum purchase for orders that require cutting.
Our customers can pay by cash, check, credit card, debit card, ACH, wire transfer or charge to a Texas Iron & Metal account with approved credit.
