Buy Carbon Steel Floor Plate, Steel Tread & Diamond Plates.

Carbon steel floor plate, also known as tread plate or diamond plate, is rolled to produce raised diamond-shaped marks on one side. This raised or elevated pattern offers increased traction and protection in a variety of applications. Like other steel products, the thickness or gauge of the steel floor plate helps determine its application and use.

At Texas Iron & Metal, we have prime and surplus steel tread and diamond floor plate for sale in all sizes and gauges. Whether you need large order of a standard size or just a few custom-cut pieces, we can quickly fulfill your order with short lead times.

Applications

When workplace and pedestrian safety is your number one priority, let Texas Iron & Metal help you select the right steel floor plate for you. Steel floor plate is commonly placed in workplace, commercial, and industrial areas that endure high-foot traffic, extensive wear, and exposure to slippery conditions. The enhanced anti-skid resistance improves safety in these applications while mitigating accidents and possible reduction of work-related injuries.

Carbon steel floor plates see extended use in other applications because they are extremely durable and resistant to corrosion and wear. These all add up to a long life span with little maintenance, which saves you time and money. Common applications and uses include:

  • truck beds and trailers
  • industrial flooring
  • truck ramp
  • forklift ramp
