If it is in good condition, surplus pipe can be used for transporting liquids or gases, if that was what they were originally designed for. They can also be used as fence posts, sign posts, light posts and poles for mounting wind generators or antennas. Surplus pipe can be welded together to create trusses for buildings, gates, fences or furniture, and single posts can be used to support ceilings or main support beams in a structure.
